About Ingram Studios

Ingram Studios is a welcoming creative space in Melbourne’s inner north for personalised vocal tuition and mentorship by Laura Ingram.

Laura delivers private and group lessons that are tailor-made for each student. She works with students from ages 5 to 55 to learn to trust their voice and perform with a new level of confidence and care.

Laura works with students in person in her Northcote studio as well as a thriving student base online.

Our Mission

Ingram Studios’ mission is to provide quality vocal training and creative development coaching to a local and global community of aspiring musicians and professional performers.

  • We believe that a solid foundational training in voice technique and breath management is key to empowering our students to perform with confidence & ease, and without risk of vocal damage.

  • We want to establish a life-long love of singing and music appreciation in all our students, which we create through an environment of safety, trust and mutual respect for each other individuality.

  • Though our lessons, we want to empower, inspire and connect as many individuals as possible so they can live creative, passionate and warm-hearted lives as honest communicators and story-tellers.

  • We recognise that our teachers are valuable role models, and that the continued development of their craft and pursuit of a professional music career is vital, because it inspires and motivates our students to be the best versions of themselves.

  • We respect the backgrounds and beliefs of all, and welcome all POC and members of the LGBTQI community.

As a parent and a teacher of saxophone and clarinet for over 35 years, I have the upmost respect and confidence in Laura as a teacher. Her beautiful intuitive and nurturing gifts, combined with her passion for music put a smile on my daughter’s face every time. She is brilliant!
