About Ingram Studios
Ingram Studios is a welcoming creative space in Melbourne’s inner north for personalised vocal tuition and mentorship by Laura Ingram.
Laura delivers private and group lessons that are tailor-made for each student. She works with students from ages 5 to 55 to learn to trust their voice and perform with a new level of confidence and care.
Laura works with students in person in her Northcote studio as well as a thriving student base online.
Our Mission
Ingram Studios’ mission is to provide quality vocal training and creative development coaching to a local and global community of aspiring musicians and professional performers.
We believe that a solid foundational training in voice technique and breath management is key to empowering our students to perform with confidence & ease, and without risk of vocal damage.
We want to establish a life-long love of singing and music appreciation in all our students, which we create through an environment of safety, trust and mutual respect for each other individuality.
Though our lessons, we want to empower, inspire and connect as many individuals as possible so they can live creative, passionate and warm-hearted lives as honest communicators and story-tellers.
We recognise that our teachers are valuable role models, and that the continued development of their craft and pursuit of a professional music career is vital, because it inspires and motivates our students to be the best versions of themselves.
We respect the backgrounds and beliefs of all, and welcome all POC and members of the LGBTQI community.
“As a parent and a teacher of saxophone and clarinet for over 35 years, I have the upmost respect and confidence in Laura as a teacher. Her beautiful intuitive and nurturing gifts, combined with her passion for music put a smile on my daughter’s face every time. She is brilliant!”
